Chance 2 Change is a long‑established peer support group based at the Phoenix Centre, meeting twice each week to provide a safe, welcoming space for connection, reflection, and collective strength.
Our members all bring lived experience of long‑term physical or mental health conditions, as well as the everyday realities of social disadvantage, discrimination, and economic exclusion. This shared understanding shapes a supportive community where everyone’s voice matters.
Together, we explore the challenges our members face, celebrate their achievements, and create opportunities for personal growth, advocacy, and positive change—both within the group and across the wider community.
Elevator is a supportive six‑month programme delivered across Drumchapel and Yoker, designed to help people move forward with confidence and renewed purpose.
The course is for anyone experiencing challenges such as depression, anxiety, stress, long‑term unemployment, or the impact of physical disabilities.
Through a mix of group sessions, practical activities, and personalised support, Elevator helps participants build resilience, develop new skills, and create positive steps toward improved wellbeing and future opportunities.
